Nidec Elevator Components | A Perfect Conclusion of 2024 China International Elevator Exhibition (2024 WEE)

The 16th World Elevator & Escalator Expo（WEE） was successfully concluded at the NECC (Shanghai) from May 8 to 11, 2024. For the first time, KDS shines at this WEE with NIDEC ELEVATOR Components. The new logo of NIDEC ELEVATOR is very eye-catching.  The booth is in bright color, simple and unique, showing the international image of NIDEC Group green, attracting many visitors to take photos. NIDEC booth also won the "Excellent Design Award" issued by the organizing committee of WEE.

Nidec is the world's largest motor and control company with elevator components business spread all over the world. NIDEC booth was jointly built by the group's elevator division, with sales representatives from sister companies in the United States and Colombia. During the expo, the booth was bustling with visitors from Australia, Mexico, Chile, Argentina, Panama, Malaysia, India, Bangladesh, Singapore, South Korea, Japan, Vietnam and other countries. Thanks to the expo, we signed a number of orders for the machine and control system with customers on site. Here are the highlights from the show.

The MRL product solutions – Slim Machine is the star product. Nidec WE series machine with 190mm ultra-slim frame, greatly improve the utilization rate of the well. The encoder can be removed from the front of the frame for easier maintenance. WE is designed to accommodate a lower top height.

In addition, this WEE also brought a best-selling overseas WR-D series barrel-type machine. The compact design effectively compresses product height, and the slender structure meets the needs of strictly demanding projects at the top level. For WR-D, the maximum capacity is 1600kg and the highest elevator speed is 2.5m/s with 400mm sheave dimension.

New elevator market is declining, but the number of elevators continues to grow every year. The existing elevator market has become the focus of the growth of the elevator industry, and the renewal of the old elevator is becoming a strong force to pull the field. The elevator aftermarket covers many fields such as elevator repair, maintenance and renewal. With the increasing aging of buildings, the elevator aftermarket has great potential. In addition, the government's transformation policy for old residential areas will also bring some opportunities for the elevator market. Therefore,  NIDEC MRL products brought by this expo are in line with the elevator market trend, to provide domestic and international customers with product solutions that meet the current needs.
